Camcorders
The Sony TRV900 is one of several digital cameras used to illustrate photographic principles in CAMERA COMMAND, an instructional video on camcorders and camcorder use.Below, you will find links to the major camera manufacturers. Finding the precise information about manual controls of shutter-speed, aperture, focus, color balance, etc. is not always easy. We are not recommending specific cameras. However, we have listed under each manufacturer, several models that contain the manual adjustment that we illustrate in our video. There are many fine camcorders on the market that do not, for instance, have shutter-speeds below the standard 1/60th second. Keep in mind that with such cameras you will not be able to duplicate the effects we demonstrate in the section on slow shutter-speeds.

Lenses & Lens Converters
A wide-angle lens converter is one of the pieces of auxiliary equipment recommended in CAMERA COMMAND, a camcorder training video. The major camera manufacturers sell telephoto and wide-angle lens converters for a variety of their cameras. You can also purchase such converters from other manufacturers, such as Century Optics. Not all cameras come with lenses that are manufactured by the camera maker. Often they are supplied by companies that specialize in lenses, such as Canon or Zeiss.
